In this video, I will walk you through the step-by-step process of installing waterstops in your bathroom to ensure a watertight seal. I'll demonstrate how to install a waterstop under the shower screen and at the bathroom door. The waterstop under the shower screen is designed to prevent water from escaping the shower zone and flowing into the external areas of the bathroom. It keeps the water contained within the shower area, ensuring that no moisture seeps underneath the tiles or the screed. The waterstop at the door, on the other hand, prevents any water from flowing out into the rest of the bathroom, which is especially important if you have carpet outside the shower area. By creating this seal, these waterstops ensure that moisture stays where it belongs and doesn’t cause any damage to the surrounding areas. This not only helps maintain the integrity of your bathroom but also prevents any costly repairs in the future. Watch along and learn how to achieve a perfectly sealed shower space! Jax Tiling
