This is a quick video showing a demonstration of what waterproofing looks like and how we do it at Jax Tiling. We've been perfecting these methods for over 30 years, and in all that time, we've never had a failure. Our process is precise: first, we clean the floor thoroughly to remove all dust and debris. Then, we apply a sand and cement bedding to create a stable base. After that, we prime the surface to ensure a strong bond. Once the primer is fully dry, we apply the bond breaker to prevent cracking. Then, we add the waterproofing membrane. Once it sets, the floor is completely sealed and ready for tiling. We trust this process because it’s time-tested, reliable, and consistently delivers perfect results.
